The Crisis on Social Media Earths

Handing Customers the Keys to Car Retail
Too often, buying a car makes people feel helpless. Sales professionals leave customers in small offices while they negotiate mysterious deals with the finance manager in the back. You get what they give you, nothing more. Things can be different, which is why we worked with Saturn to flip the car retail experience on its head. Now, Saturn customers, not employees, are in charge of buying a car from the second they walk in. Jump's Clynton Taylor told AdWeek's Joan Voight all about the transformative project, which is rolling out across the country to Saturn's retail centers.

Creating the Space for Concept Design
When you work in an emergent but successful field, the terms of the discourse change all the time. In a new report, the Danish Authority for Enterprise and Construction proposes the term "Concept Design" to encompass the work of a variety of strategic business activities informed by design. Jump's Alonzo Canada was interviewed for the project, explaining how the design of JumpSpace facilitates the kind of interactions that help breakthroughs happen. He's on page 77 of the 115-page report.
