Joseph Shields integrates his passion for business analysis with a clarifying eye of design strategy at Jump. With a background in both physics and creative writing, he is a problem solver that can analyze the forces at play and then wordsmith a clarifying couplet. Joe, as he prefers to be called, has worked with healthcare organizations to create new care models, as well as a large quick-service restaurant organization rethink their employee experience. He has also worked with leaders in the consumer packaged goods industry to envision mechanisms for improved decision-making. Joe holds a Master’s degree in Design and an MBA from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology, along with a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Kalamazoo College. He is equally at home performing music on stage as he is spending months at a time in the woods hand carving guitars.
