Getting People to Talk: An Ethnography Primer


Institute of Design grad students Gabriel Biller & Kristy Scovel recently made the documentary Getting People to Talk: An Ethnography & Interviewing Primer, which packs all the basics needed to do great participant research into a single 30-minute film. It’s a great introduction to ethnography, featuring frequent tips from Jump’s Colleen Murray.
