Lucas McCann has over a decade of experience in innovation strategy and research. He did his undergraduate work in Theoretical Physics and Art at Macalester College. He studied sword fighting in Japan and has obtained a black belt level mastery in the oldest existing Japanese school of martial arts. While in Japan, he was the creator of a popular comic strip. Lucas has a Master’s degree in Design Planning from the Illinois Institute of Technology. In his free time, Lucas studies the industrial revolution, and believes that odd moments in history can contextualize our future. His clients have included leaders in automotive, medical devices, technology and retail. Lucas has taught research methodology courses at Stanford University and at the Monterrey Center for Higher Design.
Lucas holds a M.Des in Human Centered Product Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Physics and Studio Art from Macalester College.
